Clean the surface of the machine before inspection and then remove the parts around the NSK bearing. The oil seal is a very fragile part, so be careful to disassemble it. Do not apply excessive force. Then carefully check the oil seal and its surrounding parts. If it has shown bad symptoms, be sure to replace it. Poor oil seal will cause NSK bearing. Damage and severe equipment downtime.
Cover the exposed NSK bearings:
When inspecting NSK bearings, never expose NSK bearings to contaminants or moisture. If the work is interrupted, the machine should be covered with a piece of oil-paper plastic or similar material.
If the unshielded NSK bearing is cleaned without performing disassembly and may be inspected, wash it with a white spirit with a brush for application, then dry it with a lint-free cloth or blow it with compressed air. Dry (be careful not to let the NSK bearing assembly start to rotate).
Check the lubricant:
Apply a little bit of lubricant to the friction between the two fingers. If any contaminants are present, feel it, or apply a thin layer of lubricant on the back of the hand, then seal the light.
Replace the lubricant:
Oil-lubricated NSK bearings, after draining the old oil, if possible, refill with fresh oil and allow the machine to spin at low speed for a few minutes. Whenever possible, the oil collects the contaminants from the wreckage and then vents the oil. The oil is preferably filtered before use.
Grease-lubricated NSK bearings should be replaced with a cotton joint to any part of the NSK bearing when replacing the grease, as these residual fibers may wedge between the rolling elements and cause damage. In particular, the application of small NSK bearings needs to pay attention to this problem.
