1 slewing bearing installation
Before installing the slewing bearing, first check the mounting surface of the main machine, and the supporting member should have sufficient strength. The connecting surface should be machined, and the surface should be smooth without debris and burrs. For the inability to machine to achieve the required flatness, a special plastic with a large injection strength can be used as a filler to ensure the accuracy of the installation plane and to reduce vibration.
The ferrule bearing ferrule has a hardened soft belt zone, which has the mark "S" on the end face of the ferrule. The installation position should be such that the soft belt position is placed in the non-load zone or the non-frequent load zone (the plug hole is always in the soft Belt).
When installing the slewing bearing, first perform radial positioning, cross-tighten the mounting bolts, and check the bearing rotation. When tightening the bolts, there should be sufficient pre-tightening force, and the pre-tightening force should be 70% of the yield limit of the bolt material. Mounting bolts should be fitted with tempered flat washers and spring washers are strictly prohibited.
2 maintenance of slewing bearing
After the slewing bearing installed and put into operation for 100 hours, it should be fully checked whether the pre-tightening torque of the mounting bolt meets the requirements, and the above inspection is repeated every 500 hours after continuous operation.
When the slewing bearing is installed, it should be filled with a proper amount of grease, and the slewing bearing should be filled while filling to evenly distribute the grease. After the slewing bearing has been working for a period of time, it will inevitably lose a part of the grease. Therefore, the grease should be replenished once every 50-100 hours between the slewing bearings in normal operation.
3 Transport and storage of slewing bearings
Bearings should be placed horizontally on the vehicle during transportation. Measures should be taken to prevent slippage and vibration, and if necessary, auxiliary support.
